In Flames - Soundtrack To Your Escape

I am going to say this up front. This is a much better album than I was expecting. After last years dissapointing Reroute to Remain many metal fans had written these guys off and when I read some early reviews of this CD the critics weren't a whole lot more forgiving of this album. As I sit and listen to Soundtrack and then go back to albums like The Jester Race or Whoracle it doesn't seem like it is trying to be any more accessable to the masses than those two albums. Sure there are some slight differences in the style of the CD's, but lets face it In Flames has always had a more accessible feel to their version of melodic death metal than say an At The Gates or Dark Tranquility.
