Systematic - Pleasure to Burn

This is a local band from the San Jose that I have been a big fan of ever since I first heard their two demos. I have listened through this CD quite a few times and I don't know if I am completely sold on the direction taken. It is a good album and I have no problems recommending it. It just lacks some of the intensity of the first album.

Leaving Only Scars - This is the first single and although I like it a lot I think it is too ballady to be the first single. With a metal/rock album you need to come out hitting and release the slow songs later on down the line.
