Meshuggah - Nothing

I first ran across these guys when I was reading through a guitar magazine. It mentioned their style as "math metal" which intregued me. These guys are definitely one of the most unique bands you will ever hear. They use some of the oddest time signatures you will come across and do it in a way that doesn't sound overly calulated. If you are not a musician just try to count out beats of four (1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4) against one of these songs. On this album you practically never hit on a correct beat. Many people won't paticulaly like the vocals on this album (he screams/yells a lot) but he definitely gives it his all. (which is all I ask for from a vocalist)

Downloads:
Stengah - Pretty much defines what this album is all about.

Perpetual Black Second - Great metal title and another cool song.
