John Coltrane - A Love Supreme

A Love Supreme is one of my all time favorite albums and one of the greatest jazz albums ever. For me it has everything. It is a concept album, it has some gorgeous melodies and a ton of John's overblown noise style. On every track he is reaching for the sky with his playing and trying to push the possibilities of what jazz and music itself can do.

This is actually a budget album that you can probably find for an everyday price of $9.99 and on sale for as little as $7.99. There is no excuse not to have this album in your collection.
