Audioslave - Audioslave

Before I heard Audioslave I would not have thought it was possible to merge the styles of Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine into anything that would truly work. What is most amazing is how well Chris Cornell's vocal melodies work over top of Tom Morello's hip hop, noise guitar parts. This album is a full on collision of two styles that in the end is both a look forward and and a look back in music style. If you like rock music at all this is an album that should not be missed.

This album is so strong that I could have picked just about any two songs. I went with Show Me How To Live and Shadow of the Sun. Both songs will give you a great idea of what this band can do and what the album is all about.
