If you go into The Terminal thinking of the movie as a fairy tale/fable you will probably enjoy it quite a bit. The story is decently put together, and doesn’t fall into as many clichés as I was expecting. The performances are all pretty good (even though Hanks with a thick accent takes a little getting used to) and there are more than few outstanding shots in this film. This is B grade Spielberg, but still interesting. It is worth at least a rental.
