This was a unique film for Hitchcock because although it wasn't his first American made film it was the first with an all-American cast. This has many of the classic Hitchcock, innocent man on the run themes and plot points (a theme he would come back to over and over again) and does a great job from start to finish. Overall I put this as mid grade Hitchcock, which still means it is a must see.
