Westerns (hell any film type) do not get any more entertaining or any better than Rio Bravo. This is Howard Hawks in perfect command of his craft (he is the director). This movie has a little bit of everything (action, love, comedy, etc.), and never misses a beat or seems out of control. Even the Ricky Nelson/Dean Martin duet in the middle of the films feels right. (Instead of thrown in because you had two popular singers in the film) Whether you rent or buy this film, add it to your list now.
