As with Rear Window, Notorious is a perfect film. The script, cast and direction are all flawless and in my opinion you will be hard pressed to find a better movie. One of the most important aspects of Notorious is that it was one of the few times that Cary Crant was not asked to play himself. This is by far his darkest film role and makes you wish that some other directors would have given him a chance to go down this road. If you love film this DVD must be in your collection.
