Men is another cool addition to the con movie genre. It is directed
by Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Alien, etc.) and it is nice to see
him stepping outside of his normal style. Early on we see the
team of Nicholas Cage and Sam Rockwell working a con. First
they bilk the wife out of a few hundred dollars and then go
back and bilk the husband out of the rest of their money. Nothing
like taking advantage of the wife's greed and then the husbands
need for revenge. Great performances all around and the extras
on this disc are quite good. The documentary is one of the best
behind the scenes featurettes I have seen in a while that was
not part of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the commentary
has some good insights as well. |
