Femme Fatale is a nice return to form for director Brian DePalma. DePalma has always acknowledged his debt to Hitchcock in his thrillers, but it is nice when he is able to use the conventions with out blatantly ripping them off. Femme Fatale reminds me of pictures like Dressed to Kill instead of Body Double. I only gave the film three stars but my guess is as time passes and this film is watched more and more, it will move up in stature for both myself and the general public and be considered one of DePalma's great films.
