SUMMARY
Every time I sit down and watch The Conversation I get to the end I think this is the greatest movie Francis Ford Coppola ever made. Then I watch the first two Godfather movies and think the same thing. Then I watch the Conversation and the cycle starts all over again.

Harry Caul (Gene Hackman) is the best surveillance man in the United States. He is able to record almost any conversation anywhere and the opening sequence (one of the great sequences in film history) sets up both his abilities and the rest of the events that will follow. I really don't want give anything away so check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
