A Christmas Story over the years has turned into one of the true holiday classics. (Right up there with It's a Wnderful Life) It's details are so dead on and the narration so funny and insightful that it is impossible not to love this film. If you have somehow never seen the movie it centers around the character of Ralphie (Peter Billingsley). He is a 9 year growing up in Indiana in the 1940's and wants nothing more than a Red Ryder Air Rifle for Christmas. His mother regulary tells him he could shoot his eye out and there is no way he is getting that gun but that does stop Ralphie from plotting and scheming his way towards hopeful success.
