In the recently released Alec Guiness Box Set from Anchor Bay this is the film that is the bonus disc. It is not currently available for sale as an individual DVD, and for any fans of Alec Guiness that bought the indivdual discs this will be a major disappointment. The movie starts a little slow, but once the basic setup is complete (Guiness is a ship's captain hoping to live the perfect life by having a different wife at each of the two ports his ship stops at) it is a classic. I have a feeling that many women will take a harsh view of it, but in the end it is a very balanced movie. Get the box set or put this in your Netflix bin. You will not be disappointed.

The picture on this DVD is pretty solid. There are a few artifacts early but that is about it. The sound on the disc is solid mono.

Extras include the theatrical trailer and the Alec Guiness Bio that is on every DVD in the box set.
